Youth Ministry

Mission Wednesdays– June 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Time– 9:00 AM– 4:00 PM

This year we will be switching our Mission Wednesdays to a full day program for 2 reasons; 1. to make it easier on parents timing and 2. to combine a fun activity into all our hard work. Each week we will complete a mission project for a local non-profit for a few hours, followed by a sack lunch and then a fun outing for the afternoon.

June 9th– Mission Project: Montrose Historical Society (Wear Closed Toed Shoes) & MUMC Yard Work

Things to bring each day:

1) Water Bottle

2) Closed Toed Shoes

3) Sack Lunch

Western Slope Youth Game Day

Who: Youth (Grades 5th-12th)

What: Western Slope Game Day

Where: Buckley Park, Montrose Colorado

When: 4:00-6:00 PM June 20th, July 25th, August 29th

Cost: $2 Per Person

Join us for a fun fellowship opportunity between our western slope UMC youth! We will enjoy a variety of games, a meal together and a short devotional. We will have a large variety of games available including Gaga ball, Kickball, 9 Square in The Air and Spikeball.

Please have each person bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather.

Hiking With A Purpose

When: June 13th 1:00– 3:00 PM

Where: Cerro Summit

Join us for a fun afternoon of hiking,
fellowship and a devotion. Our hikes will be something for all abilities!

Scavenger hunt activities will be available for the kids while we hike. Please meet at the Cerro Summit
parking lot at 1:00 PM. Please bring a water bottle and wear closed toed shoes.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Location: Meet at the Church (Baldridge Hall) but event will be offsite

June 27th Activity Details: We will be headed to Banana’s! Please bring a sack lunch and a water bottle. We will depart the church at 12:30 PM and return at 6:00 PM.
